So Thirteen was found in our shed 3 years ago. I am convinced she's a mixed breed but which one?

Her coat is smoky black and she has a triangular face. She's latched herself on to me, follows me, jumps on my back from either the ground or when I'm hunched over.

Above picture has the wrong date by the way. This was 2013

She has a very unique profile

So far I think she could be a mix with a Russian Blue or an oriental kind. Siamese perhaps as the Oriental shorthairs have much bigger ears

That profile could sit on a Russian blue.  Black cats are difficult to get good photos from. Still, its my guess she could be half russian.

Half russians  are often black - nothing peculiar with it, blue is a diluted black gene, so they do carry black.

I do tx you for rescuing this distant cousin to my residents...

Thank you, I do tend to lean towards Russian, especially with her character. She also tends to mother my son when he cries really loud. She nibbles him to hush him, although at times a bit too hard. It's getting less now that my son is older.

N'aww, she found us. We just took her in. I remember it like yesterday. My husband coming in the living room: "There's a black cat in the shed."
