There has been a previous discussion on different coloured eye pupils. I suggested that the different colours were due to an artefact produced by the flash being taken at an angle, so that one eye reflected the light from the retina at an angle and the other retina reflected the light at a slightly different angle.
Here is a photo of Sukie sitting on a high kitchen cupboard, with the camera flash being taken from the observer's right. Her right retina reflection appears at an emerald green, her left is a yellowish green.
