Hi! I'm Zelda!

Hello everyone! My name is Darby and my family and I just adopted Zelda (named after The Legend of Zelda by my 7 year old daughter - we are both video game nerds!) this past Saturday from a co-worker who had her for a month, but the senior cats in the house did not get along with her. She is 1 1/2 and is the sweetest girl ever. She is our first cat and we are all adjusting very well to her! Excited to be a part of this group.

Great that you took Zelda in. She does look comfortable and seems that she's already fitted into your family. Remember to give her lots so love and don't forget to have her annual jabs. Is she spayed?

I second that second photo comment. That is a happy face. 

Yes, she is spayed! She just went to the vet last month and has a clean bill of health but we will be finding our own vet to take her to that is closer to our house and just have her checked out there and will continue to follow up with her vaccines, as well as getting a microchip as she seems to be very interested in trying to go outside whenever we open the door.

Thank you! Lots of purring was going on. That was the first time that she jumped up on me for snuggles the second day that we had her. She has already made herself at home!

Be very careful about the open door. Cats are super-quick and sneaky. Where I live there are lost cat posters everywhere.
