It's Thanksgiving week for those of us in the US!  I need to get to the store to see if I can find a turkey breast.  Although no one would be disappointed if we had ham for Thanksgiving,  We have before!
All of a sudden I'm feeling the Christmas rush!

When was the last time your purchased stamps?

I was trying to mail my Grandmother's birthday card the other day (she's 98 today!) and I pulled out Christmas stamps.  The thing is; I can't remember if they are from LAST Christmas and we still have some; or maybe DH picked some up.  We just don't use them as much as we used to.  I'm pretty sure I haven't bought any myself since last Christmas.  And now I need more for this year's Christmas cards.

I SELL a lot of stamps! :D

I use only about 5 stamps a month, and a couple stamped envelopes (for bills that don't come with an envelope). So I guess I get a book every 4 months or so, plus the stamped envelopes every month (since I'm at the Post Office anyway. . .:tongue2:). I pay some bills online or by phone but I feel somewhat obligated to pay mostly by mail, lol.

I can't remember when I last bought stamps....I think we're talking years :lol3: I hardly ever have to mail letters etc, and when I do I grab some from dad :anon: I post parcels more often, but usually use prepared print-at-home labels for them (or go to the the post office and pay there).

I don't like to use Christmas stamps especially the left over ones I have after Christmas. So I brought 3 books about 3 months ago of regular stamps and they should get me through the holidays. I use about 7 stamps a month. I still pay my bills through the mail.

I think that was in September. I have two nephews that live in Australia so I sent their birthday cards and presents then.

I think Rick bought stamps about a month or so ago. I haven't bought stamps in so long ago, I have no idea when the last time was.

I think it was in September. I try to always keep some in my wallet in case I need one. I mailed DD's and my mail in ballots. It's a good thing I took hers with me to mail. I asked her if it needed postage. She said NO. it needed .68 in postage.
Fortunately I looked at it and added the stamps before I mailed it.

It has been several years since I bought stamps.  I remember I needed one stamp for something and the line was long.  I bought a minimum number of lifetime stamps from the machine and I still have a few of those left.  I pay everything online and I only mail the very very occasional odd thing now.

I buy a roll of stamps about every 1.5 years. I get the "Forever" stamps so I do not have to worry about any change in the postal rate.

I do a fair amount of paying my bills on line, but I still have a few to mail out; also for cards, it is good to have some stamps in the house..

We get stamps a few times each year from our mail carrier. A simple order form we leave in the mailbox [emoji]128235[/emoji] with payment and then a book of stamps shows up a day or two later. We are in a rural area, but the post office is only 4 miles away. Wife pays most bills on line, but still plenty of cards and such to send out.

I guess I am old fashioned, i.e. I still buy stamps to mail birthday,, get well, anniversary, thank you and holiday cards.  The grocery stores here sell them too so I don't necessarily have to go to the P.O.  I'm guessing I probably buy a book of stamps every 2 months.

Probably in July or August. I only have one bill I have to mail. Everything else is electronic. I don't do Christmas cards-I always buy them-then forget to address them then the holidays come and go and opps! I only buy stamps twice a year or less.

I pay most of my bills through the mail, so I need quite a few stamps. About a year ago, I bought a roll of Forever stamps through the mail-in order form the carrier leaves. When it came, I didn't put the roll away right away, and when I needed it, I couldn't find it. I looked everywhere, high and low. Nothing. Then it occurred to me I must have had a senior moment and threw the roll out in the trash. So I broke down and ordered another roll. That really frosted me - another $47 for 100 stamps. Fast forward a couple of months. Mingo was reaching under the stove for a lost toy, and I got the yardstick out to scoop it out for him. Guess what popped out! My lost roll of stamps! That fool cat must have found the roll on the counter and thought it would make the perfect toy.

Gosh it's been years.

I do everything via online services and the very few I have to mail, I take stamps from the office.

My hubby uses stamps for a couple of bills that can not be paid electronically. He mails the bills from work but he just pays his work the cost of the postage.
