I need to find a LID wet and dry food for my allergy cat and diabetic cat. I am going to try natures instincts LID Dry food. Any low carb wet food options anyone would recommend?
NV has LID canned foods you can try. There aren't any high carb sources in the food. Some people feel that peas are too carb-y but ome diabetic cats can handle it just fine while others are very carb sensitive.
I have read peas are high on the list of cat allergens from other members experiences. I found bIt's the 2nd ingredient in NV LID or in the top five in the turkey flavor. I am still compiling the ingredient list from the variety of wet food my cats eat. They didn't like NV wet food much so I switched back to iams and beyond grain free. I was trying to see if it was Grain allergy. No relief or luck yet. Thank you I will continue to research this and check out the links.
