I cannot wait!!! We order HBO just for the time that the Sopranos is on and after the season ends we cancel it again! They haven't caught on yet and we've been doing that for years!

I heard that there is betting going on in Las Vegas as to who will get "whacked" in the first show. Johnny Sack is the odds on favorite!

I'm counting down until Sunday!!!

I just got HBO, when Comcast called me on the phone and offered it to me for a dollar extra a month, they made an offer I couldn't refuse. I also have all of the DVD's. Very expensive, I might add. I think Season 4 had one of the most disgusting graphic barf scenes, I have ever seen, and I was NOT expecting it. I do NOT do well with barf scenes.

Anyway, I'm setting my VCR to tape the show tonight at 9pm Pacific. I hope that's the correct time. My computer has a DVD burner, and if I can ever figure out how to use it, I will probably make my own set of DVD's. Sicy, I could make you copies if you'd like.

Ditto, Sicycat!! You took the words right out of my mouth!! I am in the same exact boat!! I am one of the rare females that is crazy about this show. I even liked season 4 (haven't seen every episode yet. I just bought the DVD set) I loved when Tony was "protective" of Pie-O'-My (sp?) It was great!! Anyone have any predictions for season 5? (I will be able to watch some episodes when I pet-sit in other people's homes.

I watched tonight at a friend's house. We don't have cable at my house. Friend's of ours have HBO so they had a "Soprano's Party" tonight with about 10 people.

What a GREAT episode!!!...spoiler coming up...don't read if you don't want to know what happened................................................................

ok...

What was up with Tony wanting to date his shrink? Once he gets her to go out with him he will probably loose interest in here and then ruin their relationship as well as thier doctor and patient relationship.

The bear thing was great, I loved how they "hired" a kid to watch over the house with a machine gun

This season seems like a faster paced show than last season which was pretty slow. There were alot of laughs and already someone is dead.

Can't wait till next weeks show

I have it on cable and used to love it until last year when they changed the time and put it on at 11.30pm!!, and on a weekday if i stay up longer that 11pm it kills as i get up for work at 6.30am.

So i've lost the storyline now.

The season looks to be quite promising. All the new characters haven't even surfaced yet. I am wondering if the rift between Paulie and Christopher is really 'healed'. I do not trust Paulie in the least. You can tell that Tony really does love Carmela, but I don't see them getting back together. He is way too alpha male to ever do what it would take to make their marriage work out. Although, how long can you last with Janice taking over Sunday dinner duty? And btw, are she and Bobby Baccala married? When did this happen?

Deb, that's what I got out of the whole "I lost my wedding ring" comment. You know, it's pretty sad, but I was actually almost laughing when the waiter got it. Not because he got it, just Christopher and Paulie's reactions to it! I don't know if their truce is going to last or not, I doubt it. Although they may have an alliance against the new guys coming out of prison...

Since I saw a few people in the 10 Questions Thread love this show, I thought I would bump this back up.

Is it just me, or is everyone else really not liking the FBI in this show? Adriana isn't going to be able to keep doing this much longer, I don't think. If Chrissy was mad in this episode, just wait for that!

I have to wonder, with the look that Tony gave Carmella at the end of the show, and the cancer, and going back to therapy, and decided not to go for it with Adriana....do you think Tony is going to try to salvage his marriage?

Sunday night's episode was NOTHING like I was expecting, given the previews, but was it ever good! I was thinking same....maybe Tony and Carmela will reconcile. If Adriana and the FBI goes on much longer, she is going to be one dead fiancee.

I think Adriana is going to be seen talking to the FBI one of these days..I get so nervous everytime she's in the car with them, my stomach gets queasy lol

I cried when Tony left on the last episode of the 4th season. My boyfriend called just as it ended and I was bawling. He said "what's the matter with you" and I wailed "Tony really left!!" He just muttered "oh for God's sake" lol I wish Tony and Carmella would get back together. I don't know what I will do with myself when the show goes off. First they cancel Oz, then Sex and the City and now The Sopranos...*sigh* HBO is just going downhill.

On HBO's Soprano page, you can take the Soprano quiz. It takes awhile, but I scored 93%..I guess I'm an official junkie

Well, so much for Tony Blundetto going straight.....

Tonight's episode was great, too. Honestly, I wanted to cheer when Tony almost put A.J. through a wall. And the guy Carmela was dating was a grade A idiot! I love when Carmela threatens somebody.

Yeah, I was kinda disappointed with that, when Blundetto snapped and then went back to Tony. He was SO close!

Bob was a class A jerk. I couldn't believe he accused Carmella of doing that! Just because he was thinking with his *beep* doesn't mean she was using him. AJ needs to pull his head out of his rear, but I hope the little fling she had with his guidance councelor doesn't come back to haunt AJ.

I think that finding the 12 grand pushed him over the edge. When he fell back into old habits so quickly via his new-found cash. It's a shame, because I liked him as going straight, yet with an in. After all, he was instrumental in saving Christopher's life the week prior.

I also thought that Tony was stripping down to his scivvys in the kitchen to grab a little peice of action himself!

I think Tony B will be the next on the bus back to the big house..I originally thought he would eventually turn on Tony S.

AJ has had that slam against the wall coming for a long time, I was glad it finally happened.

Bob was just pouting because he didn't get what he wanted WHEN he wanted it. I think it was pretty slimy of him to "do the deed" one more time before cutting her loose. Although it's always fun to see Carmela tie a knot in someone's behind.

I thought the same thing! Has to be hard to grow up together and then at some point have your friend and equal be The Boss.

I do so like seeing Carmela getting a little down and dirty with people, and I don't mean sex. The parting words she gave to Bob were classic. The last time I remember her pulling out her mob status to lean on someone was that lady who didn't want to write Meadow a recommendation letter for Columbia. She shows up with the ricotta pie and a few carefully uttered words.

Although I know Tony will never change, as far as all his scooting around with other women, I still kind of wish that he and Carm get back together. They compliment each other so well.

My best friend and I were laughing this morning, because we both think this show is in our blood. He said he dreamt that he was at his regular barber shop, only A.J. was the barber. I dreamt that Tony got shot, and I shot the person who shot him! I think I was Meadow, though. It was a weird dream.

The last episode I saw was when Adrianna got beat up by Christopher and then went after Tony!! I was shocked (sort of) to see Christopher beat up Aidrianna right after her being in the car accident. I know he is a violent person, but has he ever been violent with her before? At least Tony, with all of his many faults, never physically abused his wife. I wonder if real life mob bosses are that way at home (calm like Tony), while their wives yell at them or if they are more volitile like Christopher? I just love this series and can't wait to buy season 5 on DVD ( I will have a long wait). I don't get HBO so I have to catch episodes at my pet-sitting homes when I can.
