Drinking fish tank water.

My one cat keeps jumping on the fish tank and drinking the water out from the filter. Im curious as to whether this could prove to be unhealthy? I keep 3-4 clean bowls of water around at all times, but my one girl just prefers fish water hahaha

I don't think it would bad, as long as the tank is fairly well maintained. I have a couple of planted tanks which I add ferts to every day, so I'd be concerned about my cat drinking from that water. Other than that and obviously salt water, I don't think aquarium water would be that bad. :dk:

Lol no its not jasper.
But it is a planted tank that i add ferts to every week :-/
