Bob licking mirror, glass......

Hi all---My 2 year old male has been observed lately licking a mirror, our windows and the basin(?) part of the toilet. I'm not sure if it's the coolness of these objects or something more worrisome at work. Or is it just behavioral? He has access to the outdoors only during the day, and even at that, is only out for about an hour in the morning. He is inside from sun-down to sun-up. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance....

Hi diane, sometimes depending on what is being licked, it can be a sign or a health problem or it could be behavioral. It would be a good idea to take the cat in and ask for a routine blood panel to be drawn to be sure that he doesn't have anemia or something else going on.
