Please pray for Xena.

What is happening with Xena?  Last I read, she was headed for the vet because her appetite was off.  I hope you didn't get bad news from the vet?

Nothing really abnormal is the results of all recent testing and exams. It just appears to be her time. She is having episodes of short shallow trance like breathing. She is eating more the last couple days than any day of the last 5 weeks. She still has some good moments. We are done stressing her with pet carrier/vet visits and trying to keep her comfortable. We have chosen the natural path. We just went through a similar experience with my wife's daddy and regret we did not get him home for his final times. Yesterday was a hard day. 14 year anniversary of the passing of my last dog and 22 months without Boney Girl. Lost 4 others close to me over this summer. I am crumbling. I can only pray, please God take her gently.

I'm sorry to hear this. If this is her time, then I hope her passing is peaceful At least she will surrounded by people who love her and care about her. :heart3:

Thanks everyone. She had four near death events in a 21 hr period. Xena seems to be rallying a bit today with no events since 5:30 this morning. Her breathing is still faster and harder than normal. As comfortable as can be expected
