been a long time since we had a kitten. he's about 14 weeks old and has sneezed periodically since we got him. at his 3 month check up the vet said he was fine. in the past couple days he has been sneezing significantly more- he's still eating, drinking etc. during the day he seems to want to lay with me more but at night he's normal, terrorizing his big brothers. the house is b/w 69-79 degrees with air purifers and a/c so wanted input on how to help and if it's common to the point where vet isnt needed? if $ wasnt tight i'd do the vet no matter what but figured i'd get input here first. are their comforts for him that humans use like blankets, etc.? he typically has very warm body and paws. today his paws have been colder but we had some flooding in our kitchen that they were playing in before we woke up.

side note he is very vocal but noticed he meows when he's in litter box but havent had a chance to observe if he's straining. he was on my chest today and i could here his stomach. our old cat had troubles with his anal glands and in the past few weeks the kitten has periodically shared that smell but his anus doesnt look upset.

Well, I doubt his tummy rumbling has much to do with him sneezing, but I could be wrong.  Sometimes a little while after breakfast, if one of mine if laying on me, I can hear their tummy too, and I just figure it's their food digesting and going thru their system

Sneezing can be brought on by so many things.  Just like with humans, they can sniff something that makes them sneeze, and kittens will be kittens and tend to go where they shouldn't, places where maybe there is are things they might sniff and get something up their nose.  (in my house, way behind furniture they might find a little extra dust
).  Or could be an allergy, even if the house is all closed up.  I know I happen to have allergies this time of year, so often start sneezing in the evening.  It's even possible he has Feline Herpes, which can manifest in sneezing, although it usually also has presents other issues as well, like runny eyes, or trouble breathing.

If you think it's possible it's a seasonal allergy, you could try giving him a portion of human allergy meds.  Here's a thread that discusses it, BUT, I would at least CALL your Vet to discuss dosage since we're talking about a kitten here.  http://www.thecatsite.com/t/329394/advice-on-benadryl

thank you- his sneezing has decreased to its normal level but i'm watching him & breathing closely. he has definitely gotten into some dusty hiding spots. thanks for linking the thread on seasonal allergies too.
