I have had a stray cat turn up don't no how long she been here as she is the twin (not related) of my Tom so I just thought it was him but then she looks pregnant she not very good with humans (but will let her stroke her on her terms but just the head but brilliant with my husky cross and my other cats so don't no how long she been a stray for. She has the borrow shape more when she has eating but can't see her nipples so can't tell by that but her tummy is very hard she does eat lot and ask for food but when got it she don't eat lot for what I call a pregnant cat but does eat lot biscuits (if u no what i mean it's hard to explain) and I can't check as she won't let me near her tummy or pick her up to check just wondering what other people thought she never really goes out and sleeps lot so hard to tell with her her tummy is very low down and I ant got clue how far long she is if she is

If her stomach is very hard she might be close to birth. In many cases cats will delay their labor in order to find a safe. Place try to give her a nice box, warn with blankets. In a secluded area of your property where no one would come in direct contact. Leave food for her as much as possible. And lots of clean water. Staying hydrated is very important to pregnant cats.

Also if you are going to take her in the sooner the better. If not she may need the help of a foster or a no kill shelter. Parasites and illness is very dangerous for a mother cat and her kittens.
