Eli

Well everybody, a change of events has occurred. I always believe that things happen for a reason.

Little Eli, who was supposed to go to a good home along with another 7 week old kitty, is staying with me. It turns out that the woman who was going to take him is also living in an apartment. Rene convinced me that it would be so ridiculous to send him from my apartment that has his kittie friends he's bonded with (especially his Uncle Moo) to another strange apartment. He sleeps in my arms every single night. Besides, there is a VERY good chance I'll be moving into a duplex that has 3 levels to it. And my old saying is "What's one more poop in the box???"

I'm glad he's staying. I've really fallen in love with this little guy. I will try to borrow a digital camera this weekend so I can post his picture on the website next week.

I didn't know I was the one that actually convinced you - I thought you had already made up your mind before I said anything about her also being in an apartment? Be honest now, you never really wanted to place him into another home. Don't be blaming me for any extra poop in the box.

Guess this means another baby in the new house. For those of you that don't know it yet, Rene and her husband have found a beautiful 2 family house that they are going to buy and if we have to, my husband and I will also help her get the mortgage if need be as this house is not only for Donny but for my gang also. You see my husband and I are moving home to be near family and friends. I'm so excited that I don't sleep very well any more until I know when we are going home. In the meantime, Donna and I have gotten to be really good friends. Donna, didn't think he was going anywhere when you told me he was. Besdies the litter boxes will be downstairs so who will know that there's one more poop.

he is adorable by your description of his personality!
I can definitely understand how you can get so attached
to these furballs. I could never be a breeder as I would
keep all of the kittens! I can't wait to see a picture of
him! You sound really content now that you are going to
keep him and I am glad for you.

Hey it's the weekend - where are the pics of the 'new arrival'?

Well,

Things have changed yet again. Eli is sharing a pad with a cute little chick waiting for a new home. I love Eli alot, but he needed to bond with another little kitty his own age. Besides, 8 cats in a one level 2 bedroom apartment is too much. Maybe once I move into the duplex that hopefully will become available in the next 6 months, then I can add to my furbaby family. But Eli will be happy in a home where he can get the love and attention he deserves.

The good news is he got a teriffic home. Michelerad is adopting him and will show him at cat shows, so I'll get to see him. At least I'll know where he is and how he's doing and he's in good hands.
