My 3 year old cat has had bad teeth since I adopted her as a kitten from a humane society. After battling with severely infected gums & resulting malnourishment from lack of eating we had 13 of her teeth extracted last 2 Thursday's ago. She was happy and obviously pain free when we brought her home and then her eye developed a sore and she stopped
Opening it 2 days later. We took her to the vet and was prescribed duralactin, a lysine supplement, but her eye isn't really improving a week and 1 day later. She is burrowing herself and going back to her old ways pre surgery. I'm worried the bad teeth and now the eye herpes could be a sign of a bigger problem.
I would appreciate anyone's insight on this! I'm a first time poster and worried about my kitty, Popperdoodle.
