Wondering if anyone has worked with Flaxseed meal to treat feline skin allergies. I would like to know what you found to be an appropriate amount per feeding?

have you already tried OTHER forms of Omega 3s?  Krill Oil, different fish oils, Green Lipped Mussel powder?

I'm not familiar with flaxseed "meal".

The flax-seed meal was something I had in the fridge (for a while now). About two pounds of it. It is high in Omega 3. Although I have my fish oil capsules, I thought the meal would work best. I have begun serving a 1/12 tsp per morning dish and will see how it goes. He is eating it?

Do be careful with the flaxseed. It's known for helping to manage constipation in people, and you don't want to give your cat diarrhoea!

It's worth remembering, too, that cats don't absorb plant-based omega oils very well. Fish oils are a far more efficient way to get these oils into your cat ;)
