We're investigatign food allergies for one of my cats, with wet food found a food all cats at least tolerate Koha Kangaroo stew

Is there any dry dry food that is rabbit or venison or kangaroo (or some other novel protein) and low carb?

Blue wilderness Rabbit contains potatos

Addiction venison also contains potatos
Instinct Rabbit has tukey as ingredient #2
Pride rabbit has turkey as ingredient #1
Hills prescription diet ingredient #1, #2, #4 peas!

does anyone know of any brand that uses a novel protein and no grains, peas, potato?

try hound & gatos, or ziwipeak.

Have you tried feeding raw meat? The Rogue couldn't manage most canned foods, and I narrowed it down to cooked poultry. He was perfectly well with anything raw.

Its not what you asked for, but James Wellbeloved is renown for being tolerated nicely by many allergic cats.  It contains much rice thought.

My old favorite, raw goats milk - can you get it? preferably fresh, but frozen should also be OK.  It wont be enough as food, but it will be a good supplement and alternative.

Also, holding in check some inflammatory conditions.

Coldpressed organic coconut oil is said by many to have some antiinflammatory properties too...  And overall beneficiary.  Cant hurt, may help.

thank you both!

P.S. My cats do ok with canned, but my job has my away for unpredictable amounts of time (8 hour days often turns into 15) so, auto feeder goes off if Im not home in 10 hours, hence the need for dry food.

How about freeze dried or air dried raw food? These can be fed dry even though the package insructions say to rehydrate before serving. Many are grain free and while they may contain veggies, peas and potatos aren't usually included but always check the label. Air dried raw foods are crunchy like regular dry food. Freeze dried raw is softer but many cats will readily eat it.

Primal Pet freeze dried raw: http://www.primalpetfoods.com/product/list/c/14

ZiwiPeak air dried raw: http://www.ziwipeak.com/catalog/natural-cat-food/air-dried-cat-food

If your cats start to get bored with the Koha canned, try the novel proteins suggested in this thread: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/306947/your-favorite-brands-of-novel-protein-canned-cat-food Not all may meet your requirement of pea and potato free.
