One of my three cats keeps peeing on my dogs bed. Im on my 4th dog bed as all the other have been peed on multiple times. Ive moved the bed multiple times, and it always get peed on when its moved. None of the cats are peeing anywhere else besides the litter boxes which i keep clean. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks

OK...I'm lost.  I'm assuming that it isn't Jasper, at least.  Mostly, I just wanted to kick start your question.  Once one person answers, more seem to find their way in.  Since you have a huge following of Jasper fans, I'd put a link to this thread on that one.

Okay so i have figured out whos doing the peeing. Its my female cat, lilly. Anything that is my dogs, shes peeinh on, her dog bed, her blanket thats in her crate, etc.

So what can i do to help stop this? The litter boxes are always clean and i have multiple. So i dont think thats the issue as she doesnt pee anywhere unless something that belongs to my dog is on the floor. Thanks

This may be territorial marking, and Jasper, whose scent is EVERYWHERE that the dog is, MAY be one cat too many.  MOST peeing like this that isn't associated with an illness or soiled boxes is some sort of territorial conflict.  Not sure, it is just a guess.  SIGH...Like I said, go to "Keeping a Kitten Alive' and link this thread.  There are tons of very knowledgeable people who follow Jasper there...They'll have some better ideas, and some concrete suggestions.

I went through this with my girl a few months ago. After much frustration, and being convinced it was a teritoral/dominance issue, it turned out that she had FIC.[article="33052"][/article] We indtroduced an extra box near the dog's bed, and (after consultation with the vet) started her on a supplement. We've had no problems since *knocks on wood* Feliway diffusers are well worth a try too. [article="33457"][/article][article="33610"][/article]Good luck. I hope you're able to get to the root of this soon - I know just how frustrating it is!

Just linked it. Thanks for the advise. Im worried its territorial as well as lilly always hisses at jaspee when he comes around, but i never put 2 and 2 together, with jaspers sent being pretty much anywhere my dogs is.

I dont think its FIC, she hasnt peed anywhere since i took my dogs bed off the floor and closed her crate so lilly cant get to my dogs blanket.

Now that the link is on Jasper's thread, you should start seeing more of our real experts show up, like @Columbine.  Lord knows, half the site fell in love with Jasper!

Until you get it figured out, can you cover the dogs bed with puppy pads? Or will she not lay on Ii with a pad there?

Good luck.  I'm not sure what the answer is, but I know we can find one!
