Yup! We're giving away one more fabulous scratcher by  Art Motion And Sound!

We are so lucky to have designer and craftsman Eric - aka @Bengalcatman  - as a TCS community member! Eric and his CEF (Chief Executive Feline) Makena have graciously donated one more magnificent scratching post for one last giveaway this year.

Each one of Eric's scratchers is a work of art, designed and handcrafted for a unique level of quality you won't find at any store.

Click to see how and why Eric designed these unique scratching posts  and you'll see why it's exactly the kind of scratcher your own cat is going to love.

So many designs to choose from! Dark oak? Barn board? Curvy or straight base? Only you know if your cat prefers a vertical or a horizontal scratching surface and which of Eric's beautiful designs will best match your home decor. So, you get to choose!

It's time to visit Art Motion And Sound's product page, look at the various scratchers and let us know what your fantasy scratcher is and why!

ENTRY--Dark Oak Vertical scratcher, because my cats are used to vertical scratchers and with four cats they wear out pretty fast.

ENTRY. Barnwood scratch please. I have three monsters who would love this, however they are spoiled so if I should be lucky enough to win, please give it to a worthy cause.

ENTRY--Dark Oak Vertical scratcher, because my cats are used to vertical scratchers and with four cats they wear out pretty fast.
Cats scratch for a lot of different reasons. Cats who are scratching to mark territory like it when their scratcher is a bit tattered because it shows other cats exactly whose territory they are in. I have found from feedback that in some multi-cat households the cats get annoyed/confused when and old scratcher gets thrown out or recovered and they have to start all over with a new one. Also, all of our scratchers are designed so that the sisal can be replaced - we sell the sisal but you can also find it in large home centers and hardware stores.

Bengals and other hybrids are a large part of our business - their size and strength along with their (how to put it nicely?) "overabundance" of energy tear up/knock over/wear out normal scratchers. Our Bengal Makena has managed to shred every tree around the border of our property!
