My girlfriend and I got a new kitty - We're new cat parents!

Hi my name is Steve and I live in Las Vegas. My girlfriend and I just got a new kitty. His name is Ninja. We think he is a Nebelung, he looks very similar to one. We're new to cat forums and we're first time cat owners. However my parents own several cats (they live in California). Here is a couple photos of our new kitty. He is 5 months (supposedly, but he looks to be almost a year old)

Welcome to TCS and cat parenting! Ninja is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. We'd love to see more updates/photos as he grows and you become closer.

Took more photos of him today. He loves his new cat house/cat tree we got for him. It was only $20 he enjoys it already. I put it in the corner of the room against the window so he can look outside and watch cars drive by. He likes watching cars and motorcycles pass by. The sound of a motorcycle always gets his curiosity. He is such a great cat. Pity that the people we got him from had to move. They must have treated him well.

I like the shelf above the cat tree--he can get a nice high view!  

At least he has another good home now! To honor their care, you'll have to love him just as much, which I'm sure won't be an issue.   This type of thing is difficult, but I'm sure his former family is glad knowing he's in good hands. 

Wow, I can't believe the tree was only $20. Where did you get it? It's huge! 

My girl, Marley, loves looking out the window. She's mostly interested in the birds and squirrels that scamper up and down the telephone poles. I think it's adorable how your kitty is more interested in cars
