Today Ribby is Three Weeks Old!  They grow and change SO fast!  Our big news this week is we went to visit the vet and make sure the sneezes  were not serious.  (they're not) and found out HE is a SHE!    It's hard to tell when they are so tiny - but I think Ribby was a girl in the Beatrix Potter books so all is well. :heart4:

She is awake more and wanting to look around and explore.

So glad little Ribby is making progress [emoji]128522[/emoji]!

My baby has been adopted!  Ribby is now named "Mink" and belongs to my niece and her fiance.  Here is a recent photo - she is very loved and worth every hour of sleep I lost while bottle feeding her!
Thanks to everyone who commented on her and enjoyed her progress along the way!

They have taken her to the vet.  I think he recommended waiting until she was a full 6 months (she's about 5 now) because she is small for her age.

Are they keeping her totally inside?  She looks gigantic to us!

Yes - she is totally an inside kitty and will always be.  I know vets sometimes like to wait until 6 months, and she was small for her age (according to the vet not according to me!)  I am confident they are doing the right thing by her. This is my niece - not some stranger who adopted her.

thank you for your concern.

I have been involved in rescue of cats and dogs for many years and am well aware of the need to spay/neuter.

I hope you didn't take offense. I just meant that she looks gigantic to us compared to how you found her. You've done a wonderful job.
