My new little orphan bottle baby - found in a box of tissue paper :(  No mom or siblings around :(

His name is Ribby!

He was 1 week when I got him from the shelter - just turned 2 weeks yesterday.  So far, so good!

Awwww...little Ribby is so adorable. He's made great progress in just one week. Add another to the list who would like to watch little Ribby grow [emoji]10084[/emoji]️

Thanks!  I will post updates!  I've bottle fed litters before but never a single baby like this. He's already trying to wrap his little self around my heart.    I must steel my emotions....I don't need another cat, I don't need another cat.....:)

*Yes you do.  YES YOU DO.*
*PRAYERS* for Ribby to grow big and strong, healthy and always safe and loved.
So sweet!  Thank you.... I only have 5  - FIVE - now and one is a senior that needs sub-q fluids.  My niece and her fiance are interested in adopting him so at least he'll

be in the family.

BTW - that baby in my avatar was from a litter of 3 that I bottle fed 2 years ago - I still have her and her sister.  (little brother got adopted)  So I don't have a great track record

on "foster-fail" with bottle babies!

Awww!  I love having bottle babies!  These are two of my 3 black bottle babies.  This is Parker and Peanut (female).  They were about 2 1/2 weeks old when I got them and are now 3 1/2 weeks and just starting to taste some wet food for the first time today (with mixed reactions).  They are even using the litter box on occasion - I do keep them confined to a kennel for the most part though.

What cuties!  Parker and Peanut  are adorable.  My little Rebby is sneezing today.  I pray it isn't the beginning of some URI!  He's still eating well, eliminating well, and is energetic so my limited

research indicates it's best not to use antibiotics on a kitten so very young unless absolutely necessary.

We bought 7 months of basically good quality time for our little girl Moti when she went into CRF with sub-Q.  She was so good and patient when I put her into her carrier for the sessions.

Foster failures are wonderful!

Thanks - that is encouraging.  He is doing pretty well and at times gets a burst of energy.  Just thankful for every day we have with him.

Today Ribby is Three Weeks Old!  They grow and change SO fast!  Our big news this week is we went to visit the vet and make sure the sneezes  were not serious.  (they're not) and found out HE is a SHE!    It's hard to tell when they are so tiny - but I think Ribby was a girl in the Beatrix Potter books so all is well.
