I want to change my kitty Benny to a pine pellet cat litter since I can't stand the tracking of granulated cat litter. I was ready to change him to Feline Pine after a lot of research but now I discovered it is not easy to find where I live. The brand I've been able to find is Feline Fresh. Has anyone tried either/both? Is Feline Fresh as good?

Where do you live?  Is there a Tractor Supply Company near you?  I use their Equine Pelletized Pine horse bedding, about $6 for 40 lbs.  It smells and looks like Feline Pine but is much less expensive.

Rural king also has horse pellets for 5 bucks for 40lbs, which is he pine liter that I use ( with a litter breeze box)

Ultimately, as long as i is intended as litter or horse bedding, it is all the same, so whatever brand you can find will work fine, assuming that you can get your cats to use it ( some dislike pellets.)

I experimented with the pine horse bedding which I bought at Tracker Supply. I saw several Youtube videos on people stating it massively controls odor, especially cat's urine, saying it turns to an odorless sawdust. After buying the 40 lbs bag for a few bucks, one of my cats did not like it. I was weaning them to it but my one cat did not like the scent and the feel and pooped on the floor!!!! I once against filled the litter box with clumping litter but with very few pellets on the top. My cat AGAIN pooped on the floor. Something he never did!!!I went back to the clumping and have not had a problem since.

Do you want clumping or non-clumping?
If non-clumping, any cheap brand of pine pellet will do; they're all pretty similar.
If clumping, Okocat makes a good wood pellet clumping litter. It's the Okocat longhair version.
