Hi everybody, my three year old cat has fel-v. She is overall a healthy cat. But about twice a year, she gets a cold or something. We take her to the vet, after some meds she's good as new. She had surgery this past march for pyometra. Now I noticed she has an eye infetion. She got antibiotics about three months for a cold. I'm scheduling at a vet appt today.
My question is, is this normal for fel-v cats to get sick this often? Overall she's a happy kitty with a great appetite who loves to play! I just feel bad that she gets sick a lot. Again, is this just the norm for cats with leukemia?
