Okay so my black cat Gotham, likes to stick his face in the litter and then proceeds to dig to china. So everytime he come out of the litter box his face is covered in dust. I am just wonding why he does this.

cause he's a cat. Whenever I see my black cat covered in dust, I take a paper towel & wipe her off, I don't want her licking it
Or try a litter that has less dust. Arm & Hammer Microguard seems to have less dust to me. Mingo, in my avatar, never gets dust on his face, and the only time he got it on his paws was when I added baking soda to the litter.
