Hello guys just wanting a little help or info on my problem. I have a 3-4 months old kitten and his mummy. Today I just spotted that the little one had worms on his bum. I looked at mum and she had one on her tails. So my mum is going to buy flea and worming tablets now. I just want to know if that will work or if I need to take the to the vet? They are just little white worms that look similar to maggots. I only noticed them today and like I said am getting worming tablets. Is this the right thing to do or is this a more serious problem?

Drontal from the Vet clinic.  If any of your cat/s has been to see a vet in the past year then you can purchase over the counter from Vet.

You always need 2 treatments per pet (repeats) either 2 full tablets or splitting one tablet administering 2 halves depends on weight (for kittens).

https://www.drugs.com/vet/drontal-praziquantel-pyrantel-pamoate-tablets.html   in BC I think you can buy 5 tablets per year

from one vet visit.  Any worm treatment or topical flea treatment products sold in pet stores is not recommended.

Some topical flea treatments require a vet visit/prescription to purchase some you don't.

Any pics to share?
