My five months old kitten was spayed 4days ago and I'm not sure if she is healing properly. She is playful and has no issue pursuing food with the same tenacity as before. She is taking it a little easy with jumping since day one. She is staying in my bedroom and sleeps at the foot of the bed so I created a sort of stair case to the foot to help her out. She uses it religiously. She seems a bit sweeter since the surgery. But the incision site is causing me some stress. Could anyone give me some insight? Does she need to go back to the vet? No licking or biting as far as I can tell.

Hmmm...I'd be a bit concerned about the open part and the large area that seems to be protruding around the top in that picture.  I'd definitely call the vet or email them the picture if possible and ask them what to do.  Did the vet use dissolving stitches and glue?

I know they used dissolvable stitches.

Might need to just suture it up or something. I'd get her to the vet on Monday morning.

It doesn't seem to be open. It's looked like this since I picked her up it's just grown a little dark and it looks like the glue is starting to Peel. She doesn't mess with it it isn't hot and she hasn't bled.

In the first picture you posted I also think it looks like part of the incision has opened up. I would call your vet and ask them if you can send them the photo through e-mail. If that is not possible then I would bring your baby in for a check-up on the incision. It looks to me like the stitches are loose in that one spot. I am not a vet but based upon personal experience dealing with an infected incision I am not seeing any signs of infection. My concern here would be that if the incision is not sealed correctly with the dissolvable stitches it could cause an infection which would cause your cat pain. The 2nd part of that incision just does not look right,
