Yay! I am jealous of the insurance right now. Mine had a leg problem that turned out to be a broken leg and nearly $2000 fo fix. My sisters cat also had a leg problem that was wounds around the ankle and $400.

Hope Misha heals quickly and well. Love your way.

Oh poor Misha! I'm so sorry to hear that his leg is bothering him. I hope the vet can determine exactly what is going on and get him fixed up quickly.

I just recently bought insurance for my cat. I haven't had to use it yet but storiesclike this stories remind me of why I did it.

Please keep us updated on how Misha is doing [emoji]128522[/emoji]

Hi ,Misha back from the vet ,poor Mish Mash they shaved the fur on his hind right leg plus a little strip on his front .
I think he blames me ,he ran out the door when we got in and wouldn't come in .
He has a bite wound on his hind leg it is painful and there is a little ridge about 1/2 inch long ,the wound is over the knee joint ,they took a sample i have to wait 7 to 10 days for the results ,i suppose it was on his front leg where he had his jab for the xray .

I think it is just the right hind leg injury month. Both my cat and my sister in laws cat are regrowing fur from the right hind leg being injured (I know I mentioned it prior but not which leg).

Chicken leg cats unite!

All joking aside, I am glad to hear the Misha was feeling well enough to be indignant. You might want to try to keep him indoors for a few days until the wound has healed to prevent him from making it worse. Bite wounds can be particularly nasty to heal and can easily get reinfected. Hopefully your vet did the antibiotic shot as opposed to the take home so you don't have to worry about medication; but if you got medication to take home make sure you are giving it as directed for the full course just as you would with a human. Especially with it right above the joint you don't want it getting into the joint and giving Misha a permanent limp.

Hope Misha heals quickly and fully.

So glad there is no infection!  Apparently feeling better, to be on the roof of the shed!!  Sounds great!

Hi ,had to take Misha back to the vet again last night ,i noticed a wound over his nose ,then i saw that there was blood in the corner of his right eye .He got another shot of antibiotics plus eye drops and more pain meds .

Got to take him back on Monday to see how his eye is doing ,i am at my wits end to find a way to stop him fighting ,it might be Callie is doing it or he is getting into fights with other cats ..

While i was waiting a couple came in with a box with a cat in it ,i thought it was a stray ,heard the receptionist talking on the phone with the owners .The poor cat was had been run down and was dead ,felt sorry for the owners .

We've put Link on a curfew after his last injury. Most cat fights occur at nught so keeping him in at night ahould prevent most injuries.

Poor Misha! I was wondering if Callie might be doing this....
Is it possible to keep Callie separated from the others at night? She may want space from the others and is acting out if she doesn't get it?

How's Misha doing today?

Hi ,yes Callie might be doing it ,most of the time she sleeps away from the others ,at least since i have gotten the kittens.

Misha is ok ,after i had given him his eye drops last night he turned round and gave me such a dirty look

.
Took these photos since i have gotten the kittens ,the first is during the night ,the second when i went into the living room later in the morning .
