Hey there! Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself and my kitten! I'm Megan and we just rescued Hunter 2 weeks ago!

No ma'am. I lost my last kitty Sherlock about 6 months ago. I also grew up with kitties.

I'm sorry for your loss. it looks like you and Hunter are a perfect match. Sherlock would be pleased that another lucky kitty will have the some wonderful life he did. 

Thank you! Sherlock was pretty special to me and I lost him way to early he was only about 6. Unfortunately I went through a tough time and had to move in with my mom and her husband. My stepbrother let Sherlock out. The first time a had to climb a tree to get him down, the 2nd he never came back.
Luckly I no longer live with them and my boyfriend adopted this guy for me.

No matter how long they are with us, it's never long enough. 

Sherlock will always love you and he likely guided you to Hunter. Cats want all cats to be loved and cared for. 

A man who loves cats is very special and if your BF got Hunter for you, he is a keeper for sure. I always say that men who love cats are the BEST! 

Amen on that! Haha I found out he had actually been planning on one being my Christmas present but had planned on me picking a kitty out. We periodically check petfinder for golden reteiver puppies as he is hoping to adopt one and I started browsingredients the kitty's. I came across Hunters picture and I was in love. So to my surprise my boyfriend said let's go get him! I actually cried when I held him the first time at petsmart when it sunk in that this was now my kitty!

I found all 3 of mine "by accident" too. I was just looking at the Humane Society's site and I saw my Lilith's picture. I went to meet her and ended up taking her and her sister after the woman at the HS dismissed her sister (then Midge now Sophie) as "unfriendly" and said I could "just ignore her". That got my dander up so I took both of them. I wasn't going to leave her there to be treated that way. Sophie has become my feline soul mate. I found my Henry by looking over the website of a local shelter. When I saw that he had been there for 8 years, I went and got him. He is so sweet and a perfect gentleman.

Then for my female pug she got brought in and dumped at a vet clinic I worked at. I heard her panting and wheezing before I even saw her and instantly thought she is going to be mine. To my surprise when I loozed over the counter it was a skinny pug in the early stages of a heat stroke. I took her in a nursed her back to health.
