My Beautiful "Precious"

My Beautiful Angel "Precious" was put to rest on Tuesday this week.....It was the worst day of my life and my heart is broken into a thousand pieces.

She was with me for 16 years and I miss her every second of each day.....This is the second year in a row that I have lost one of my friends in October and now I hate October....I have one surviving friend "Lady" and she I know is missing "Precious" as well.

God forbid she is taken from me any time soon.

I'm very sorry for your losses. Thankfully she had a long life and was truly loved. Take care of yourself now - I know it's not easy, but do it for Lady.

Hopefully, with time, you can adopt someone who needs a home and love again.

Very sorry to hear of your loss, we certainly do understand and get so attached to them and when their time is up we feel devastated and feel that it has not been long enough, but we never know what life is going to throw at us, we can only hope to survive all the heartaches and bad breaks that fate may bring. I'm sure that she had a wonderful life with you and Lady, has no regrets and neither do you, now you must stay strong and pour lots of love on Lady, and with time and love your hearts will slowly heal. It is devastating and you feel like you are going to just die, your heart aches so badly when they go, but it does slowly heal. Visit back here often, when you are feeling low, these people are wonderful, caring people who understand how you feel and what you are going through.

I am going to go hug my baby boy Sylvester-you can see him in the thread "terrific tuxedos" in "fur pictures and videos only" if you'd like, and I am going to say that is for you and your Precious and Lady.

I am so sorry that your sweet girl had to leave for next journey. You are amongst  people who know how much our beautiful feline friends mean to us. Run free sweet Precious 

My heart goes out to you, I know the pain of losing someone so dear and it hurts in a way we cannot bear at times. Precious spent 16 years with you, sharing your life's journey and bringing you joy and happiness. She would never want you to be so unhappy remembering her, she loves you too much for that. 16 years is a long lifetime for a cat, unfortunately they have to leave us at some point as they do not share the same longevity of the one they love. Of course it hurts, your heart is broken, your world is shattered.  Time is the only thing that helps, not to forget, but to help us learn to live with our loss and to make a new life order for ourselves. Leave your pain in the past, it belongs there as you learn to live again in the present, you must concentrate on loving and giving comfort to Lady who is grieving too and is there for you. There is no way to prepare ourselves for a pain such as this, we need to use our precious memories to comfort ourselves and to know we loved those sweet babies and made a difference in their lives. Your hurt is equal to the love you held, you will be blessed for giving these little ones such a wonderful home, know Precious is at peace knowing she was loved and held so dear. Surround yourself with those who can share your pain, it helps to let some of it escape with the telling of what that special girl meant in your life. I'll keep you both in my thoughts and prayers, take care......RIP beautiful Precious, you will be dearly missed and held forever  in a loving heart, sleep gently sweet princess!
