I was sent a sample of Wysong AddLife. My girl ,who is a picky eater, loves it. She asks for it every time I fed her. So I was thinking about buying some. Do any of you use this? The few reviews i found were all good but I would really appreciate hearing what people here think before I start letting her have it on a daily basis.
Thanks

It looks like some kind of vitamin supplement: http://www.wysong.net/products/addlife-dog-cat-supplement.php It doesn't look like a bad product but I don't think a cat really need a vitamin supplement if she's already eating a complete balanced diet.

Are you just using it as a topper? There are other things you can use as toppers to make food more yummy, like crushed up freeze dried treats.

Im only using it as a topper and only about a 1/4 of what they say to use daily. I just put a very little and she eats her whole bowl of food. I've tried freeze dried treats and just about everything else the vet and I could think of. Raw, home cooked, dry, every brand out. She's a little under wt but not bad enough for the vet to try shots to help her eat more. She was the runt of the litter and I had to bottle feed her because she wasn't getting enough. She is a 1/4 siamese on her mom's side and looks every bit the part. I just don't want to give her anything that can hurt her in the long run.

Yes! I have a container of it, I didn't know you could get a sample, I just bought the whole container. It DOES help with picky eaters. I discovered Fortiflora (another very useful trick to getting picky cats to eat anything) but don't just want to give them that so I figured, what is it about the Fortiflora that makes them eat whatever's underneath? Animal digest. So then I started looking around for products with that in it & have been buying Wysong stuff for over 3 years so wahlah, I found Add Life. It works wonders!

I just sprinkle a tiny amount on top of food & that's it, done deal, food gone. I try not to focus on all the ingredients cause to me there are things in there I can't see how or why a cat would need, but Wysong is formulated from a vet & he's been feeding his cats & other animals these products for long so I think they're alright.

I also bought the Omega 3 container cause my cats won't eat anything with added fish oil so I figured a powder would be easier to add to their food. Nope, they don't like that either. When I make cat food, that's when I add the Omega 3 supplement.

Im so glad to hear you've been using it for years with no problems. I looked into Fortiflora also but heard a few bad things. I got the sample because a couple weeks ago i had a break down and emailed every cat food company i could find that had any food she hasn't tried asking for samples. Wysong sent me a whole box of different samples. I almost didn't try it because she wouldn't eat anything else they sent and it came in a tiny little bag.
Do your cats beg for it when you feed them? My husband said she looked happier after three days and she does could that be from the fact that she is eating enough maybe?
Sorry for all the questions but I've never had trouble getting a to eat before and this has been a on going battle for a year and a half. I really hope that it's safe so she will enjoy eating.

Fortiflora isn't bad, it's just not food & it has liver, that's why cats like it. I've found that MY cats prefer animal digest over powdered liver, that's why I bought the Add Life. Of course it's safe, it's not like you're feeding your cat a container a day. It also has probiotics in it so that is good for the gut. No my cats don't beg. They occasionally will turn their nose up to food, even after I've add the Add Life to it. It really sucks having picky eaters!

Ok, i ordered a sample pack from realmeatpet.com one of their seasonings and the add life. The vet never found any problems he thinks that she is a picky eater and learned to get by with a little because of her bigger bully sisters.

I just want her happy and healthy. Whatever that takes.

I don't think most people understand how much like a child ours cats can become to us. That's why I'm so glad to have the people on this site to turn to. Thanks so much for the help.

I used to used forti-flora but also found out after doing some research that it wasn't so good. I've been using Wysong add life and my kitty loves it so much that he tries to eat it straight from the bottle. I add a teaspoon to some canned chicken chunks and he's happy.
