Hi there !
I have a grey kitty named roscoe hes almost 2!
Weve had so many problems with finding the right litter box for him. Hes grown bigger than other kitties ive seen his age. We have gone from a small one to a large to extra large and now we are using a rubbermaid tote note sure how many gallons but its a big one. He was having issues with stepping in his business and then peeing on the corner of the box and it would spill onto the floor.

Its a hassle cleaning his box and when we do its so heavy. Plus my little furr baby gets black crust around his nose from the litter dust. Ive seen the scoopfree automatic cleaning litter box and wanted to know if its worth it ? How is it on smell/ efficiency ? Id like your hinest thought !

Sorry to burst your bubble but I've heard complaints that it is too small for larger cats. Have you thought of using grass litter? I would love to try it but they don't sell it where I am. It's supposed to be extremely light weight. Of course it won't help with the tray itself.

Awh man :( i didnt think he was that big but maybe he is. Ive jeard of people who have big bengal cats using a smaller box than what mine has and it worked fine but i giess that just depends on the cat right?

Where my cats are
There are different brands of electronic litter boxes.  We had a LitterMaid that I loved for about 5-6 years I think. Eventually it stopped retracting the cord properly so we decided it was time to replace it.  That one lasted less than 2 years.  It was ok.  You do have do keep up with emptying or changing the canister part where it scoops into.  One of my cats used to "hover" on the side of it to go; or sometimes put just one foot in.  It had nice wide sides.  Now we have 2 tall sided large boxes.  I find as long as I keep the litter deep enough; they aren't a pain to scoop and they don't get too dirty.

I have a friend who has the box that washes after every cycle. She loves it but I'm not sure how big her cats are.
