I just saw this item when I went to the pet store, I never knew they made an air dried food. I've been using Ziwipeak for years & wonder if anyone has tried the Wellness version.

First glance, Ziwipeak is basically meat & vitamins, Wellness is meat, filler, vitamins.

second, the GA numbers are pretty comparable

It would be nice to find a less expensive alternative to Ziwipeak, I'm not fully convinced the Wellness product would do it for me

Ziwi Peak is air dried raw food. Wellneess Core Air Dried is regular kibble that has been air dried instead of baked to a crisp. The Ziwi Peak is a better product IMO but also expensive.

The Ziwi says it's 95% meat ( 92% meat + 3% mussels). The Wellness is 70 % meat. So to me  ( I'm not a nutrition expert at all, but numbers are obvious ) the Ziwi is definitely superior. Like LTS3 mentioned, the Wellness is maybe air dried kibbles, while the Ziwi is air dried raw meat.

Yeah they're not comparable. Wellness is kibble, and Ziwipeak is air dried meat, basically. Unfortunately, there aren't really any alternatives to ZP. I use ZP air dried as well, and it's very pricey, but there just isn't anything out there that's even close to it right now.

hmmm weird. I have them liked on fb, I went to their website & see they're in CA. I could have sworn I've ordered from them before but the place was in FL. I bought a bunch of different treats to see if my cats would eat any but they wouldn't so I fed them all to my dog. It was 100% meat like kanagroo & alligator & stuff. huh, I'll have to figure out who I ordered from before.

Anyway thank you! I knew about this company but haven't tried any of their products, I don't think.

Oh my gosh I just did a search in my email & I have ordered from them in 2014! I ordered a food trial 3 pack, chicken, lamb & beef. Well I guess they were a hit cause they're all gone! hahaahahahah
