So I've have this feral kitten that I adopted in August. I have now had her for about three months, and she is about 5 months old.
She has been vaccinated and dewormed.
She has this habit of peeing on my bed. And only my bed.. nowhere else.
This morning she peed on my blankets that were hanging off the sit of my bed....
I have a futon and other blankets on the floor folded up, and rugs as well.... but she has never pee'd on any of these - to my knowledge.
I feed her purina kitten chow, and friskies wet food every day - so I know this isnt due to a poor diet.
She has a catbox in the room off of my bedroom, which is not far away at all and is kept clean. She will pee on the bed even if I just cleaned the litter box sometimes.
I used to think it was because when she was on the bed, she couldnt jump down due to how small she was as a kitten (and she is missing half of each back leg). Now that she is bigger, she can easily jump off of the bed to pee.... and even now she wasnt even on the bed, it was just the blanket!
Anyway - There has been no trend other than the bed aspect. She could have an accident twice in a week, or only once in three weeks.
It's never in the same spot on the bed, it varies.
I need some help - im going crazy and im so tired of the stress and anger that arises when I have to clean ALL the blankets on my bed!! It is NOT an easy process.
I've been looking at countless sites about what it may be, and nothing seems to really match up with what could be wrong!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!!!
