Our female cat just keeps attacking her kittens that are four months. They are all female and they can eat together, but they cant be near each other. The mother cat also attacks my kittens that are six and a half months in the house. The male isnt fixed yet and we just got the female fixed two days ago. We dont know what the problem is, she has attacked me once before and thats it. She came from a friends house because she kept attacking every male and female kitten or cat that she saw for no reason and she didnt even have kittens. We dont know what to do with her.

Hi @Isabella Wilson and welcome to TCS!

We've moved this post from someone else's thread to here as you're question will be seen.

I'm unsure how many cats there are and what your situation is?

So you just had mom spayed? She should begin to calm down soon.

It sounds like she is being territorial. Perhaps she would be happier in a home with fewer cats.

It will help to get your male beutered ASAP. Otherwise, he will begin impregnating the older kittens, who will become sexually mature any day now. They need to be spayed right away.

Do you have a low-cost spay/neuter clinic nearby, such as a Humane Society?
