Hello, everyone. I recently acquired a cat from a friend of a friend. This is my first time owning a cat but I believed that she would come with information about her or even a vaccination record. Nothing. Plus she was brought to me in a duffle bag, frightened. Smh.

I would like to know her breed and possibly age if anyone can tell.

Your very handsome and pretty cat is  tortie / calico and tabby.  On the first photo she look diluted, but on the second photo she looks NOT diluted.

As the color fields arent clear cut separated, I think she is tortie with white.  As she is tabby too, it would give she is a torbie and white.

If she is diluted, you see in reality - I cant tell as the pics gives different impressions.

She is adult, but I cant say how old. If the first owned didnt know any history, count she isnt vaccinated nor dewormed.

I would recommend you to make a visit to a vet with her, for a check up (no fancy costly exams,  overall palpitation and look see should be enough in praktice, unless you have reason to suspect some nasty problems).  Vaccinattion - the so called CORE vaccine + rabies if rabies id demanded in your country.

And deworming. - probably twice

Later on, if she is striclty indoors, she probably wont need more dewormings after this deworming.   Probably not more vaccinations either.

Thank you for your help. I thought calico wasn't a breed. I read it is just a fur pattern.
A friend of mine suggested American short haired calico

You have entirely right, its fur pattern.  Sorry for me not being entirely clear.  The "breed" is domestic, alike the overhelming majority of all cats.

(although some of them do have some resemblance to an established breed - its them we mean when we talk about look alikes, or similiar wording)

My guess your friend talking about "American shorthair"  meant - domestic...
