please let me say this. First time posting. As I was getting my cat ready to get spaid, my 2.5 year old son opened the door and she was off.
My girls name is Button. She is really big. I assume it was late August when she got pregnant.
She has been growling and fighting my other 2 cats. She now,has started to groom them, like they were before she got pregnant. Normal?
Her nesting box had newspaper's in it and she has been clawing at it and looks like she has ripped some of it out and has built it up in the front, like a wall. Normal?
Also she has the pink nipples, and once was checked clear like liquid came out. Normal?
Have felt, the kittens move for a while now. I mean move, like poking through..lol normal?
She is tempermental as heck, loves me one minute, the other times it's like she wants to rip my face apart.

Help...i really don't have a place away from the 2.5 terror...lol. He is everywhere. We have a small home

It sounds like she is due very soon. You really need to insist that your son leave the cat and her kittens alone unless he has your permission and is being supervised by you. At age 2.5 he is old enough to listen, understand, and follow instructions. Kittens should not be handled much the first 3 weeks as they are unable to regulate their own body temperature during that time.

You need to put your cat's nest in your bedroom so that she has privacy giving birth, as well as after her kittens are born. All mother cats need privacy and to feel that their kittens are safe. Mom's food, water, and litter should be in the room too.

Here are some links to help you out:

Your cat's behavior is typical of a pregnant cat - very normal! Do you plan to have her spayed when the kittens are 8 weeks old?

Thanks for the advice. My son does listen, but he likes to vroom vroom, with his trucks etc, and play sometimes loudly. She doesn't seem stressed. The nesting box is in our room. As well as my toddler. We only have a 2 bedroom home, currently and my daughter has the other one. Yes I had planned on having her spaid before she took off like a bat out of heck, when my son pushed the screen door open. I was getting the cat carrier. And there she went. Once I was able to catch her about 3 days later, we assumed after she got a bit larger she may have become pregnant. When I called the vet, we set up an appointment to have it verified. Looks like we're going to have at least 7. The kittens will also be spaid and or neutered, once old enough. Hopefully we have babies soon.

Separate your momma cats now. They are hormonal and need space and quiet. Do not let anyone around the kittens for at least three weeks.

Tell us where you are located and we can help you to find a low cost spay/neuter clinic. It's not healthy for your girls to have litter after litter.
