Yes, I was married for 22 years, then divorced. We had a speaking relationship until he died three years ago. Social Security calls me a divorced widow.

Yes, I'm married. We got married in 2004. We're still very happy together so hopefully it's going to last.

Not married. Never have been. Won't be surprised if it doesn't happen. There's this part of me that wants it to happen (if it will) while Mom is still here, but then there's the fact that I'm kinda her caretaker, and I wouldn't want to leave her alone. So, that' wouldn't fly with most folks. So, here I am.

I'm actually ok being single. I've been single for... 12 years now. My last relationship ended in 2004, and while I've dated here and there, nothing has really materialized.

I thought I was married, don't know if that counts. My ex begged me to marry him, but when I finally said yes he had his friend (the lawyer who married us) do something so that it wasn't legal. We were "married" for 2 years, but he was extremely abusive.

I will probably never get legally married, but my man and I have been living together for 6 years.

Pam, just figured out you were married at 17. Wow!
Actually 16. I turned 16 in January, got married at the end of April, Rick turned 20 at the beginning of May, and our son was born in the middle of October. 1971 was a busy year.
Then in 1972, I graduated from high school and two weeks later Hurricane Agnes hit and completely wiped us out. That was a busy year, too.

Oh wow, you know what? I think we've been married 45 years! Imagine that!

Don't tell me you're a fellow Capricorn? You're certainly organized enough to be one.

Nope, an Aquarian. Jan 24. Although if you go by the addition of Ophiuchus, that moves some of the signs around a bit.....that makes me a Capricorn. Which makes sense once somebody gets to know me.

Pam, can't believe you had a son when you were in high school. Kudos to both of you for having the maturity to handle that. I was trying to imagine how my parents would have reacted to something like that. It wouldn't have been pretty, that's for sure.

I'd rather be Aquarius.....nothing against Capricorns in the slightest. But I'd rather be an Aquarian.

Believe me, neither one of us was mature at all and it was a long struggle. A child trying to raise a child is not easy at all. Had it not been for our parents, I don't know how we would have handled it. It was difficult. I remember taking care of our son, putting him down for a nap and then working on my homework. I graduated through a correspondence course (long story, suffice to say that Rick and I moved into a different school district and I refused to attend school there), but I did graduate and with my class and in my own school district. I made up my mind that that was the only way I'd graduate; it was my school or nothing...and I was serious. It was a hassle, but we made it. Our son attended my graduation; he was eight months old. The whole thing was hard, really hard. There is nothing worse IMO than children having children.

We're happy to have you on team Aquarius!

The fact that you managed to raise a good man and still be together after 45 years is proof positive that you're both pretty great people and perfect for each other.

Thanks @Kat0121! I think it's more like Rick and I put up with each other! He makes me crazy and I make him spastic. But somehow, we manage.

Been married for most of my life. (or seems like it anyway!) 38 years to be exact. I was married for 5 years before that. He is invaluable........ an electrician, plumber, mechanic, carpenter, gardener, architect, and most important of all, patient and loving towards cats!

It's a great sign. I'm almost Aquarius & I have many of its traits.

Can't imagine how stressful your early days of marriage must have been. Living with parents I presume. You have certainly come a long way.
