I've been curious about this one as well. It seems so many feed either dry or raw, well, let's see!

I'm curious about the main feeding, like for instance I feed raw twice a day & canned once, so therefore I would pick raw.

I picked canned, but I feed an almost equal mix of both canned and dry, which I think a lot of people do as well

My cats get both,,,,canned twice a day and dry offered at all times. The outside cats get dry mixed in with canned to make it go further, so they get both at once!

My cats are fed raw. Emma likes to have a little bit of canned food before bedtime so I keep some cans around for that and as an enticement to eat if one of the cats isn't feeling well or is being super picky about the raw.

Usually canned. I do give dry food, but only in small amounts and usually when I'm in a big hurry.

I'm learning about raw diets. I would love to give them a raw/cooked diet, but I'm just afraid I would be missing something, or giving them too much, etc. I plan on taking them to the vet this month and asking the vet about it. I will also continue to learn about Raw/cooked diets in the meantime. This site has some great resources!

it's not as easy as I thought. there's more to it then buying meat, adding a supplement & then feeding it to them. I think I'm gonna cut back on it.

Canned twice a day, with 6 small pieces of kibble for lunch and 4 pieces as a bedtime snack. Yes, we count!

Our last cat got dry in the morning (his preference) and canned in the evening (mine).

100% canned, sometimes with some freeze dried raw (Boost Mixers) or small amount of kibble sprinkled on top of some flavors that she's not really keen on.

She also gets some kibble (food, not "treat" product) when we clip her nails -- like 5-6 pcs.

Equal split between dry and cans, depending on the day.  Usually it's dry food for the morning.  Dinner in a can when I get home at night.

I feed Ruby canned spread out over the day. Because she rarely, if ever, drinks water, I mix in a little water in with the canned food.

She also gets 3 teaspoons (measured) of dry kibble a day.  Plus a few Temptations treats.

My guys get mostly canned (probably around 90%) with a little kibble as toppers or for when they're being extra fussy.

My semi feral barn cat gets mostly dry, with a sachet or 2 of complementary wet food with her arthritis supplement. She really does prefer kibble to wet food, and we're able to leave kibble out for her in a private place in one of the barns. We can't always guarantee that we'll see her, or that it will be quiet enough for her to feel sate to eat, so kibble is the best way round the problem. At least it's a LOT better than horse feed :lol3: (which she used to resort to stealing in the winter because she was so hungry:( ).

Benny gets all raw. Or else he gets diarrhea, not fun.

Nemo used to be on half dry and wet. But now its all wet because he was having some unknown urinary issues recently. Hes fine now.

My boys get 90% canned and 10% dry (rough estimates). Canned food for both breakfast and dinner, and then they each get 1/8 cup of dry before I go to bed.
