My 4 yo spayed cat has a history of Feline interstitial cystitis. About a month ago, she had an episode and I made the mistake of not testing her urine and it later turned out to be a case of UTI. She was treated with antibiotics but has since been having diarrhea/soft stool. I went back to the vet for ultrasound and they found that she has bowel inflammation and was prescribed with metronidazole. When she came back from the ultrasound, I noticed cuts on her nipple from having her belly shaved. I called the vet and they gave me some leftover fuciderm for the wound. But I didn't use it and it healed in about 2 days. This morning I noticed 2 pea sized lumps on both sides of her throat. Are her lymph nodes swollen? Could it be the result of an infection from her wounds? Or a reaction to the medicine? She is a very easily stressed cat, could it be stress related and would go away on its own? Her overall appetite is very low and her activity level is also down. How long should I wait before I take her to the vet without looking like an over concerned owner? Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.

I would think that it is swollen lymph nodes, but the cause could be from pretty much anything.  I would, at minimum, give your Vet a call.
