kitten gasps when he hits the ground

My kitten usually like getting on top of very high things and today he jumped off my mirror drawer and when he hit the ground he did a unf gasping sound. He then proceeded to drink water. 2 hours later he got on top of my other cat's tree which is about 5 ft tall and he jumped off and he did that sound again. will he be okay?

of course, he's just having fun.

The only thing I can say about this is when I got my kittens, I put a tall cat tree in the room I was keeping them & one either jumped or fell off & hurt her leg. I had to put the thing on it's side so no one else would get injured. They can injure themselves. I would just watch to make sure he doesn't favor one paw over the other. if he's using all feet then he's good to go
