I found a stray kitten last week (10/12/2016) that was meowing the entire day and his mom didn't come back so I ended up taking him back to my house. My parents aren't cat lovers but they know about him. They just want me to keep him out of sight, so mainly in my room. He's about 7-8 weeks old and for the most part I can get him to sleep in the cat bed on the floor next to my bed. But in the middle of the night around 4am? he'll start jumping onto my bed, crawl up to my face, purr loudly (everything cute so far) then reach my ears and start pawing at them and attacking my hair D: why does he do this? I keep telling him "No" then putting him back in his bed to try to get him back to sleep but he jumps up again and again. I don't think he's hungry since I keep some dry food out for him and he eats that just fine.

That is normal behavior for young kitties. Cat's are nocturnal animals. In the wild they sleep during the day and go out to find food and socialize at night. So it's their natural instinct.  Anything stringy is fun to play with for a young cat. Maybe they are trying to groom us by playing with our hair. You can try to play with the kitty very hard before bed time to wear him out. And maybe a snack before bedtime might help. I know it make it difficult to sleep with the kitten waking you up. Is there an empty bathroom the kitten could stay in during the night?
