Tail Injury

Hi all, think my little one has been fighting. Had a wound to his tail 2 weeks ago went to vet to get anti biotics & cone of shame, all healed nicely. On Sunday I noticed a new wound lower down his tail this time so put the cone back on but it's too low and he can still reach it. I've been keeping him in, cleaning (with the solution given by the vet last time) & wrapping the wound twice a day for 2 days but it's not healing well & still bleeding every time I change the bandage. Any advice for us please? .

How old is your cat? Does he go outside? Is he unneutered?

It sounds like he needs to go back to the vet.

He's 2, does normally go outside and neutered. I've been keeping him in since I noticed the new injury. The wound is clean, pink and doesn't look infected at all just not healing
