The test method is the following url

1. place dry food on a plate

2. pour water on the plate and the dry food is soaked with water

3. wait a few hours or a days

4. remove the soaked dry food on a plate

5. check the residue on a plate

When i read one of the vet's reference book "Feline Dentistry Oral Assessment Treatment and Preventative Care", I found out that there are some foods awarded the Veterinary Oral Health Council seal.

I bought and tested those dry foods listed in that book, surprisingly after being soaked in water they didn't left any residue, which become sticky like plaque and then harden like tartar on the plate only except for Royal cannin oral care

I also tested home made raw food , they also didn't left any residue..

but, except raw food , those oral care food's are not as good as 'complete and balanced' or 'grain free'

so I am looking for a general premium cat food which don't left any residue on a plate after soaked in water.

Origen cat food left very little residue like Royal cannin oral care food.. but i am looking for perfect ideal food .. also orijen poo smell bad..

Raw food poo don't smell bad.. so Orijen is out

I heard that Natural choice, Natural balance , royal kitten, pure vita, royal cannin indoor line poo smell not bad like raw food..

So plz share your test result...
