rolling back syndrome

My cat (dink) back about half way down starts to twitch and roll her tail twitches as well she also looks around like there is something there but there is nothing . She will all of a sudden take off and hide or roll in dirt until she is calm.
I will be ringing vet in the morning but I think this might be allergies as I remember this happening this time last year as well (dis not take to vet as had other issues at time) it seems to start when a bug or fly lands on her back. Has anyone seen allergies like this everything else is normal no other signs like itchy,biting is it possible to have allergies to spring/summer.

If it happened this time last year, then it could very well be allergies.  I think a Vet visit is a good idea.

What your describing sounds like feline hyperesthesia syndrome and involves a lot of twitching or rolling of the skin on the back.  see these links:
