Good news: Fleas are gone! Bad news: She now has sores

used seresto collars on my two cats to get rid of fleas. fleas are gone! It's great! No humans are bitten up and everything dead! Bad news... one cat- Jinx- has got a few sores popping up. I noticed about 3 weeks after putting the collar on her. and, they only look like bald patches at first, but she then scratches them till they're raw and open.

We don't have the money for alternative flea methods, the collar has to stay on her. is there anyway to stop the sores?

Are the sores where the flea collar is...around her neck?  If so, it really needs to come off.  Let us know and we'll try to find another option for you.

UPDATE: sores are gone?!?! They healed up in two days or so. I keep checking her neck to make sure they don't come back, and its been almost 2 weeks and nothings come back. I'm attributing the sores to the fact I didn't pull the tabs off when I separated the collar, and had it on too tight. After fixing those issues, everything okay now!
