New start in the block

I just posted about how my male stray (Daneil) has been MIA for about a week now. he might be hanging out with a pregnant stray but we don't know own if it's him.
anyways, my boyfriend said that the past couple of morning a gray tortie has been coming in our yard. he said he thinks it's a male but he isn't 100% sure.
if he is a male, could he be scaring off my daniel??

it's just weird though because one night a cat showed up and was eating Daniel's food. I assumed it was a female because it had a red collar with rhinestones. when I looked closer, Daniel was actually watching the cat eat his food! he didn't growl, hiss, nothing! just sat and watched. I don't get it:/
just heartbroken he's been gone for almost a week

Many non neutered males can be gone for weeks or months while they are being hormone driven.  They will fight for a mate as well.  It is a very dangerous way to live.  As in your other post, I will ask if it is possible to have him neutered?
