Since @Mamanyt1953 won't have internet back until much later today, I'm guest-posting today's question.

Describe how you post to this site. From your Smart Phone, iPad, PC, what?

From your office, car, bedroom, where?

{Special thanks to @Primula for suggesting this question to me.}

I'll start.  I've tried posting from my first generation iPad, and it was a disaster.  Safari kept dumping me out in the middle of posting.  The only advantage to using the iPad is that it's generally next to my bed.  I've tried posting from my smart phone -- another disaster.  As soon as I tried to preview a message and then edit it, I got lost.  The screen is just too small.  I've tried posting from my Nook Color.  The Nook seems to think that every site I go to has expired credentials -- Wikipedia, TCS, Barnes & Noble (!), all of them.  It kept interrupting my posts with warning messages and trying to force me out.  At this point I always use my Windows 7 Professional laptop, that being the best computer I own.  I occasionally check email from my laptop or iPad, and use those devices to look at posts on TCS (especially ones with pictures, since the pictures don't show up in the email notifications), but I never use those devices to post here.

And since my laptop usually lives in the living room, next to my recliner, that's where I usually post from.  If I'm under the weather I may get someone to move it into the bedroom for me, and I take it along to my computer club and my singing club so I may occasionally post from there, but not frequently.

Since I am so old, and completely computer illiterate, (I still like to read REAL books, although I do use my Kindle a lot for more modern reading)  I use my laptop at the kitchen table at 5 AM every morning after I read for an hour. I still use a flip phone because I got tired of the screen not 'sliding' when I would answer my phone, I guess I didn't have the right 'touch'. I looked like an idiot standing there and swiping that screen, and missing all my calls!
It did turn out to be a defect, but by then I was so disgusted I was ready to throw it in a lake! I do love just opening a phone to answer it, and if they ever get a button to push to answer the phone I'll look back into a modern phone. But really, I want a PHONE, not a computer, to carry around, I can't see a screen that small anyway!

I usually use my laptop.  I only use my smartphone when either my internet or power is out.  I don't like using the phone, the screen is too small for me now that I am 60.  I work from home so I always post from home.

Usually desktop, from either work (Windows 7) or home (Windows 10).

I've not had any trouble posting from my iPad Air 2 (using Safari), but it's easier to use the desktop.

I've also used my (or rather Rick's now) laptop (Windows 10) with no issues.

I won't even try posting from my Droid....that's just a pain.

I post from my laptop~~~ MacBook Pro which is all I really use..

At night, during commercials, I will briefly log on and check things out on my old iPhone 5....yes, it is an oldie, but it still works. I think it was a month before my warranty ran out, when the battery swelled and made the phone useless. I went right over to the Apple Store, and got a brand new replacement phone ~~ still an 5. It was a couple months before the iPhone 6 came out. I had 2 sales people/techs in the store advise me not to update to a new model, since I had a brand new phone.. so the technology is 4 years old, but the phone is only 2 years old...  and I still have the same plan on my Verizon account...

I do hate to e-mail on that phone though.. the keyboard is too small...

Work days - from my desktop

At home - usually from my laptop

On the go - my phone but I find this to be a bulky way to do it.

I post from my PC in my bedroom. I don't have anything else. I also used to use my computer from work but I'm retired now.

Laptop Windows 7 from home and sometimes iPhone on the go. The laptop is the better experience.

WHY LOOK...SHE IS BACK!!!  Yes, she is, and more glad than you can know to have my cable and internet working again!  I don't know what was worse, having NO power at all, or having power but no tv and internet.

I use my laptop.  My phone is so basic it doesn't even have a camera, and I don't have a pad of any sort, unless you count the yellow mini legal pads next to my computer and my phone.  The computer WAS in a corner of my living/dining room, but since I've moved, my front bedroom is now a combo guest room/office/library.  Very little "guest room" as of yet.  I have to get a day bed first.

I'm usually at work on my pc, and at home I read more than post because I'm on my iPhone (I have a 6 Plus) but find it really hard to post on.  Even with magnifying reader glasses.  And things pop up very strangely, half off the screen, it's just a pain.

I rarely get on my laptop at home unless I have to work from home at night or on the weekends.  Even then, I try to answer work emails on my phone, and avoid having to get on the laptop for anything!  After being on a computer all day every day, I just don't want to be on the laptop once I get home.  But then again, I'm one of those people that won't hardly get on the phone for an actual call once I leave the office.  It's like I'm D-O-N-E with interacting with the world once I get home
