Yes, that's quite true. Cats will sometimes overgroom as a stress reaction, then it becomes habitual. That patch looks like it might be infected and it would be wise to get a vet's opinion on it.

I will take her to the vet tommorow but can i atleast take the pain away somehow, she is still scratching and licking her self but now time to time she feels the pain and starts scratching, meowing, hissing and drops the flor. I dont know what to give her so it wont hurt her like a painkiller.. Btw thank for the answers!

No, there isn't anything you can give to help relieve pain. OTC Human pan relivers are toxic to cats so don't give any. Don't even give first aid ointment that contains pain reliver because that is toxic to cats as well. Just discourage your cat from licking the area as much as possible. You may want to put a small t shirt on the cat to keep her from licking the spot. Placing an ice cube (in a baggie) on the spot for a few minutes may help temporarily numb the pain but I doubt your cat would like that very much.

Nope she wouldnt like the ice cube method at all,not happening. I was thinking about the t shirt too and will do so until the vet comes to our house. Thanks for the reply!
