I know people talk about Spring cleaning all the time, but does anyone spend time on a good Fall cleaning?

I clean more in the Fall than I do in the Spring. I host Thanksgiving here so it's a good time to give the house a good clean. I also have a ton of allergies and I like to vacuum all the baseboards out before the heat gets going for the year.

We had our first frost this morning, so the pressure is on now for me to get those done!

We got close to a frost at 35 degrees (which is what it was when I came into work this morning), but it didn't come. Up around the northern tier, they were talking possible freeze advisory.
I had planned on vacuuming/cleaning out the electric heating registers throughout the house yesterday; that didn't happen. We won't turn the heat on in the house until the registers are cleaned out.

I do spring cleaning, but I also do a good spurt of fall cleaning, largely because of getting holiday decorations out on display. Cleaning and polishing kitchen cabinets, the hutch, living room furniture, etc. Steam-cleaning the carpet, the upholstered furniture in the living room, and the kitchen and bathroom floors, although that's more Rick's job than mine. We will Bona the hardwood floors in the computer room and the bedroom together, moving furniture, cleaning, then putting everything back. It's easier to do it together, although it's not one of Dear Richard's favorite tasks.

I want to take down the drapes in the living room and cart them off to the cleaner for a good dry-cleaning. Should have done it sooner, but got side-tracked.

Since I have off work for Veterans Day (Nov 11), I'll be doing some good cleaning that Friday and Saturday and then that Sunday will be spent putting the kitchen in "holiday" mode. I like to have the kitchen decorated for Christmas by Thanksgiving. We have a family dinner and I like to use our holiday dishes for that and "dress" the table up a bit.

I deep clean in the Fall more so than in the Spring.  I think part of the reason I do is because I know we will have more visitors through the holidays, and honestly, I just like to lay up and be lazy through the winter.  It just kinda comes natural to me to do it all in the fall, when it's time to start getting out the long sleeves, I go ahead & start cleaning closets.  Then I move on to cabinets.  I like to get everything in its place, then scrub things.

And for some funky reason, I have an annual tradition of emptying my china cabinets, washing everything, and cleaning those the day before Thanksgiving.  I guess it's because I am piddling around waiting on things to bake, so I just work in the dining room/kitchen.

Something about the end of the warmer days approaching spurs me to get things squared away.  I guess too because I like to raise all the windows while I am cleaning.  Something about the cooler fresh air and scrubbed floors/baseboards just makes my OCD side happy.

I'm a Fall cleaner as well.  After having the house all closed up during the heat of summer I like to open all the windows, wash all the drapes, deep clean the carpets, and get my kitchen organized and back in order before the holiday cooking season commences.

The bad thing is, by the time Spring rolls around again, my house will be downright nasty again.  I have always just wanted to hire somebody to come in and do the "deep" cleaning, but they wouldn't do it the way I wanted it, or do it well enough, so I figure it's no point wasting the money!
