Cat on campus needs home

I read a story on a local news website about a cat that lived on a college campus outside Philadelphia. He was injured, his owners had abandoned him and is recouperating with a school librarian. However, he needs a permanent home. The story can be found by searching havercat, philly.com. He sounds like a friendly, affectionate cat. I wasn't able to find any local rescues to take him.
