I took my cat to our vet as she was not eating as much as she usually does vet said she had to have her teeth cleaned. We got her teeth done about 6/7 weeks ago and then about a week later she was starting to go of food again so took her back to vet she said that Jazzy gums were red and inflamed and gave her a shot of antibiotics and steroid and said that this can sometimes happen after dental cleaning and bring her back if she starts showing symptoms again might need a longer lasting shot next time.
A couple of weeks ago symptoms started again regular vet was not there so had to see the other vet at the practice she said jazzy has stomatitis gave me pills which instructions went like this 1 full tablet for 5 days then 1\2 tablet 5 days then 1\2 until all gone well my cat part feral indoor outdoor got first 5 days then 3 1\2 days now cat does not true me hardly comes near me rang vet spoke to normal vet she said stop tablets bring her in I explained I cant get her she Sai when i can bring her in but don't stress her anymore vet is scared she might leave. Sorry for long post but I'm starting to really get stressed about this I have a heap of questions to ask vet have written them down will be going to see the vet today without cat but with my piece of paper to get some answers but I am just wondering should they have been able to pick up the stomatitis 6\7 weeks ago when she had her teeth cleaned

Of home remedicums, raw goat milk and cocoa oil of good qualtity (coldpressed organic style) has both some antiinflammatory properties...   Cant hurt, may help...
